Journalist Frank Cairo, son of Cuban parents was born in Miami March 5 although he spent part of his childhood in Dallas, Texa. He Graduated in psychology from St. Thomas University. But it was the career of his cousin, the talented and successful actress and singer, Raquel Olmedo, who inspired him when Cairo lived in Mexico where he discovered that within his soul passion for the world of entertainment and art was very much part of who his although family members where not happy of his decision, Frank Cairo followed his heart and began his journey.
In 1982, he started as a TV host at Telemiami with his own show "Juventud Miami" a program directed to a young audience filled with music both in english and spanish ." His bold interviews and personality attracted big stars such as Celia Cruz and Johnny Ventura as well as many American rock groups, he was able to stand out as a TV host with a unique personality and gained credibility as a respected journalist, this was the beginning of his successful career at a very young age.

Don’t Try to Hide is a floor thumping EDM/Rap song full of attitude and electronic landscapes. The song features sultry vocals from songstress Liz Primo and a powerhouse performance by rapper Primo Cruz.
The song was produced by dance music producer Oba Frank Lords and will be released worldwide with a Mad Max - style short film/music video that was directed by hip hop video director Antwan Smith. The music video is a feast for the senses that captures the insane and over the top visuals carefully crafted to take the viewer on a journey into the dark and intense world of Primo Cruz.
Primo Cruz became a popular Latin TV personality in Miami, Florida. He began hosting variety of TV shows dealing with popular topics including the Latin hip hop music scene in Latin America.
In early 2014 Primo Cruz took the opportunity and teamed up with local producers and Dj’s in the electronic dance music scene and began to develop his own signature hip hop style infused with a beat driven EDM flavor.
